The Parables Animation team, led by Cycil Jones Abban, alongside the iconic Kweku Ananse-the recently revived folklore legend, paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Dzifa Gomashie, Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts. The visit was to express their heartfelt appreciation for her endorsement and participation in the launch of the 'Ananse heritage project'.


The meeting was warmly received, with the honorable minister reaffirming her unwavering commitment to supporting the initiative . She commended Parables for creatively leveraging cartoons and animation to preserve Ghanaian folklore, emphasizing the importance of passing on cultural values to the younger generation while nurturing their creativity and identity.

Cycil extended his deep gratitude to the minister for her pioneering work on "By The Fireside", the beloved Tv series that inspired his journey to using storytelling and animation as tools to promote Ghanaian culture.

In a lighthearted close to the meeting, Kweku Ananse humorously promised to be on his best behavior-ensuring that children learn valuable life lessons from the timeless stories he continues to weave.
