The Ananse Heritage Project is a dynamic and multi-faceted initiative by Parables Studio, dedicated to the preservation, modernization, and global promotion of Ghanaian Ananse folklore.

Time with Ananse, a key component in the project, is a theatrical presentation of classical Ananse stories through traditional folklore music, drama, puppetry and cutting edge animation with special focus on children.

A collaborative partnership with Junior Graphic over the past 8 years has endeared the show to children and parents alike creating anticipation for each festive season

The 2026 edition combines up-scaled live theatrical events with a coordinated print and digital media campaign, directly engaging children and families nationwide. The program is intended to strengthen cultural education, reading culture, and creative skills development
