ANIMATION WORKSHOP AT THE HYBRID PAN-AFRICAN LITERARY & CULTURAL FIESTA BY PARABLES

Animation workshop as part of the key activities at the Hybrid Pan-African Literary and Cultural Fiesta organized by Pan-African Writers Association (PAWA), Ghana Association of Writers (GAW) and ADWINSA Publishers.

The animation workshop, facilitated by Parables' Caris Tachie-Menson (Animator/illustrator) and interns, Dawud Abdul-Mumin (Animator) and Esther Emefa Asense (Animator) were an eye-opening experience for both the young and the old as everyone present had firsthand experience of Stop Motion Animation and more. The history of animation in Ghana was not left out. Also, they were astonished by the many animated contents made in Ghana.

Art is a place for children to learn to trust their ideas, themselves and to explore what is possible. It engages children's senses in open-ended play and supports the development of cognitive, social-emotional and multisensory skills. Children are naturally creative. It's our job to give them the freedom, materials, and space to let their creativity blossom to its full potential.

These and more are what we joyfully do at PARABLES ANIMATION STUDIOS because we so know that the artist is not a special kind of person; rather each person is a special kind of artist. EVERY CHILD IS AN ARTIST!!!

GUESTS: H.E. Maher Kheir (Lebanese Ambassador to Ghana & Dean of Diplomatic Corps), H.E. Abdalfatah Ahmed Khalil Alsatarri (Palestinian Ambassador to Ghana and Dean of Arab Diplomatic Missions in Ghana) and other notable personalities.
