Educating the young ones who their heroes and sheroes were is our responsibility. It's exciting to see studios in Ghana rolling on in this path to offer an entertaining alternative for history education. Mills Media has added it's effort to bring life and fun to these stories with this latest epic animated piece currently in production.
'Asantewaa' is a morden retelling of the great Nana Yaa Asantewaa, Queen Mother of Ejisu, who exhibited pure bravery when she stood up against British colonialism in 1900. This animated movie relives these great historical moments when the Ashanti kingdom stood up to protect the Golden stool, which still remains the ultimate symbol of power and pride of the Ashanti Kingdom.
